Vanguard Alerts TLDR (From 11/13/2025 TWID)

Introducing Vanguard Alerts

Vanguard Alerts are meant to be the hub where you and your fireteam, at all skill levels, can complete activities that will help you progress in the game. This will include different playlists, the new Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts, Desert Perpetual, and the new Dungeon coming in Renegades. To keep it short and sweet, this should be similar in feeling to the Vanguard Ops and GM Nightfall playlist. The Activities

• Vanguard Alert: Similar to Vanguard Ops

• Arena Vanguard Alert: 6 player activities; fast, uncomplicated to complete, have preset modifiers

• Crucible

Grandmaster Vanguard Alert

This playlist will be made similar to GM Nightfalls pre-EoF, rotate weekly, and offer greater rewards for your time and effort and they'll be harder than the usual Grandmaster activities in the Portal.

Dungeon and Raid

End-game content like Dungeons and Raids will be included in Vanguard Alerts, with the new Dungeon coming in Renegades and Desert Perpetual offering weekly challenges.

The Rewards

• Each week, Vanguard, Arena Ops, and Crucible Alerts will offer a "multi-stage challenge" which will give rewards and XP for each stage completed

  • Weapons earned will drop at Tier 3 or above, based on your account power, and among the highest Power drops in D2

  • Also the primary source for seasonal weapons featuring the Accelerated Assault Origin Trait; which loads a small amount to the weapon after dealing sustained damage

    • Crucible Alerts will specifically reward Crucible weapons

  • Once per week, the following will be the rewards you can earn each week for completing the first stage in each category

    • Vanguard Alert: 50 Chronologs

    • Arena Ops: 50 Bright Dust

    • Crucible: 50 Bright Dust

  • These playlists can be played repeatedly so you can earn regular rewards that are based on score, with a random chance of gaining another seasonal weapon with an extra Origin Trait

  • Finishing GM Vanguard Alerts with a B Grade or higher will offer one Pinnacle weapon with the Accelerated Assault Origin Trait, and Bonus XP

  • Completing the weekly challenge in Desert Perpetual and the new Dungeon coming in Renegades rewards a seasonal bonus Powerful gear reward from either activity
