This TLDR is mostly to go over the Order system coming in Renegades. This was mentioned during the Devstream back on September 9th. This system is meant to work alongside your daily and weekly objectives in the Seasonal Hub. Active orders will be objectives to complete while you're doing activities within the game; with the focus of defeating enemies, using certain weapons, abilities, or playing a specific activity type. Think improved banshee bounties. Another goal of this is to remove competition when it comes to completing objectives while playing with friends or blueberries. So assist progress will be less than individual progress. Specific Orders
Common Orders: Often granted based on your characters current loadout. If you don't like a specific order, you can replace it for a random one at the cost of glimmer. Completing Common Orders reduces the cost of replacing other Common Orders until they've reached the default replacement cost (will be updated with specific costs upon release).
There will also be a unique bonus applied when you're playing in the Crucible. This will automatically complete a few Common Orders as you complete Crucible matches. Legendary and Exotic Orders: As you're completing common orders, it will increase the chance of rewarding a higher tiered order. When you first see this screen, there will be a meter that will be filled as you're completing said Common Orders. Order Payouts and Bright Dust
Bright Dust Category Limits
Common and Legendary Order Bright Dust Cap = 1k per week, starting at maintenance
Exotic Bright Dust Cap = 6k per season, starting at expansion launch
Reminder, a Season now covers both the Expansion release and the Update after.
Common Order Payouts: Gives 10 BD each until you've reached 1k that week between Common and Legendary Payouts, afterwards you won't get any.
Legendary Order Payouts: Gives 10 BD each until you've reached 1k that week between Common and Legendary Payouts, afterwards you'll get 10 BD.
Exotic Order Payouts: Gives 200 BD each until you've reached 6k that Season, afterwards you'll get 30. Daily and Weekly Objectives Daily and Weekly objectives will continue to work the same as when they first launched with Edge of Fate. Daily Objectives: Will continue to be 10 Bright Dust each as well as the same amount of XP, Weekly Rank progress, and Weekly Bonus Ranks.
Weekly Objectives: Bright Dust will increase from 40 to 50, reduced to 3 objectives per week, a high amount of Weekly Rank progress, XP, and four Portal Bonus Drops
Note: while the number of objectives have been reduced, Weekly Rank progress will be increased from 4 to 5.
Will bounties be going away? Not all of them. Banshee, Failsafe, and Devrim will see their bounties removed, HOWEVER, you can still collect weekly and daily bounties from other vendors. Returning Player? Read This!
