Arms Week Returns: Shotguns

This coming week in Destiny, Arms Week returns with Shotguns featured with a new selections of mods for the week long event (these will only be for shotguns)!

• Unstable Shells

  • Landing precision hits for most of the pellet spread will attach a delayed explosive to the target

• Illegal Trigger

  • Every shell fired increases rate of fire for a short time. Mag size and reserves are increased beyond their normal limits

• Aftershock

  • Final blows create a wave of energy behind the target

New Exotic Mission

October 7th sees the release of the exotic mission; Heliostat. This will reward players with the anticipated exotic Axe that pays homage to a times past, providing Quicksilver Nanites when hitting or killing targets. These Nanites will then track to the wielder, attach to the axe, and reconstruct the blade.

When you play this mission for the first time, you'll be locked to the Normal difficulty with fixed modifiers. You'll then be rewarded with a Power bump for all fireteam members, no matter where you are in the Power grind. If you've already completed your first run and decide to help a friend through their first run and are above 200 Power, rewards will be capped at 200 at Tier 1.

It's also worth noting that players who haven't completed their first run can't join a Normal, in progress run. Raid Race Winners
