Next week on June 24th, there will be a dev stream showcasing an in-depth look of The Edge of Fate, with information about weapons, Armor 3.0, and the new ability system. So if you're looking to know more, tune in at 10 am PT on June 24th (next Tuesday).

Rite of The Nine continues, with the full schedule from June 24th until July 15th - Edge of Fate launch day:
Until June 24
Increased currency drops active for all dungeons
From June 24th, all dungeons are available in addition to a rotating dungeon that will have increased currency drops and weapons to drop from defeated enemies
Week of June 24: Spire
Week of July 1: Ghosts
Week of July 8: Prophecy
Starting June 24, The Emissary will offer a handful of exotics for players
More will be added each weak through The Edge of Fate launch
From July 1 until July 15, players can earn Nonary Engrams
Starting July 1, players will be able to purchase Nonary Engrams for 350 Nonary Manifolds at The Emissary
Starting July 8. players will be awarded an additional Nonary Engram each day just for signing in so be sure to claim it from The Emissary
From July 8 until July 15, "lootapalooza" will begin
Increase currency reward drops from enemies in all dungeons
Even more increased loot from the final boss chest when completeing all encounters
Melee Damage is Changing in The Edge of Fate
This section has be kept short and sweet due to the amount of information given to us via the TWID, will only key information that players should be aware about. If there's anything mentioned that you think should be important, please don't hesitate to reach out in the #spoilers channel in the Low Sodium Destiny Discord server
When Edge of Fate releases on July 15h, melee damage increases in D2 will be additive. Which means, two hypothetical 50% damage increases will be added together for a total 100% damage increase, instead of one decreasing the other prior. This will result in a lower damage ceiling for melee damage, so the following buffs will take place:
Almost all effects that increase melee damage will be buffed, some of which by double the damage they do now
In PvE, melee damage increasing effects always stack at full value if applicable (so that 30% damage increase in the changed Melee stat will also be stacked)
Glaives melee output is also apart of this update, as it will be considered an unpowered melee ability when Edge of Fate launches. They will receive melee damage increases all full effect in cases where unpowered melee would, which includes Synthoceps, Offencive Bulwark, Combination Blow, Spark of Feedback, Wormgod Caress, Banner of War, and Stylish Executioner.
However due to this change, it will no longer benefit from some weapon damage bonuses such as Radiant, but will modify the behaviour of basic melee attacks such as the Titan Aspect Knockout.
Glaives will also be adjusted to compensate for the increased access to melee damage increasing effects;
Glaive melee damage against Red bars and Orange bars has been reduced by 40%
Glaive melee damage against Champions and minibosses has been reduced by 28.5%
Glaive melee damage against bosses and vehicles has been reduced by 50%

Maximum PvE melee damage bonus increased from 73% to 200%
Note; Roaring Flames increases Solar Ability damage and Glaive melee is always kinetic so it's been opted to follow the rules for this one so it will not scale Glaive melee damage
Melee damage bonus is no longer decreased when used with Peregrine Greaves, Wormgod Caress, One-Two Punch, or Synthos
Knockout
PvE uncharged mlee damage bonus increased from 100% to 160%
PvE charged melee damage bonus increased from 50% to 160%
Increased melee damage now works with Glaive melee at full effect
Offensive Bulwark
PvE melee damage bonus increased from 100% to 160%
Increased melee damage now works with Glaive melee at full effect
Melee damage bonus is no longer decreased when used with Synthos
Banner of War
Melee damage bonus for user and allies increased from 40% to 100%
Increased melee damage now works with Glaive melee at full effect
The damage bonus provided to Bladefury's melee attacks is unchanged
Hunter
Stylish Executioner
PvE melee damage bonus increased from 200% to 400%
Now works with Glaive melee at full effect
Now works with every melee ability if the ability makes contact while you're leaving invisibility
Projectile melee abilities like Threaded Spike will get the benefit of the damage increase is used at point-blank

Maximum PvE damage bonus increased from 309% to 400%
Increased melee damage now works with Glaive melee at full effect
Now works with Tempest Strike in PvE at full effect
now works with Grapple melee in PvE at full effect

VFX has been updated on Sunspots while the user has Phoenix Cradles on to look more clearly supportive to allies
Additional effects added:
Dealing sustained Solar weapon damage in a Sunspot extends its duration
Providing Solar buffs to allies has the chance to create a Sunspot at your feet
Mk.44 Stand Asides
Sprinting with Juggernaut active periodically grants you a stack of Static Charge
Sprinting while amplified creates an area behind you that grants allies Speed Booster
Path of the Burning Steps
Increased Solar weapon damage and Solar Ignition based on the number of stacks of Roaring Flames you have
Roaring Flames x1/2/3 grants +10/15/20% bonus Solar weapon damage and +5/10/15% Ignition damage
Stacks with Surge mods
Reduces the duration of Suspend, Slow, and Freeze effects applied to you
Abeyant Leap
Now increases the duration of Suspend applied by enhanced Drengr's Lashes
Actium War Rig
Auto Rifle or Machine gun final blows increase their stability, ammo generation, and damage

While a Solar Super is equipped, weapon kills grant class ability energy and weapon kills grant a different Solar verb depending upon the Rift:
Healing Rift: Weapon kills create a pulse that grants Radiant to you and nearby allies
Empowering Rift: Weapon kills grant Cure to you and nearby allies
Boosts of the Assembler
Noble Seekers no longer spawn in waves and instead spawn at a constant rate base on fireteam sice
Average number of Noble Seekers made per 8 seconds is unchanged - it will create one per ally in that time period
Noble Seeker tracking range change to 40 meters always (from 20 base on time alive)
Noble Seekers will prioritize allies who have not been healing in the last 8 seconds
Noble Seekers can now target allies standing in the rift producing them
Noble Seekers will not detonate when passing near an ally they are not targeting (They will still detonate if they make direct impact with a untargeted ally)
No longer grants extended rift duration on Noble Seeker impact with allies
Instead grants class ability energy on Noble Seeker impact with allies
Geomag Stabilizers
Super energy granted from Ionic Traces reduced to 4% (from 7%)
Sprinting to top off Bolt Charge retuned
Bolt Charge stacks needed before sprinting decreased from 6 to 5
Amount of time needed for sprinting to start granting Bolt Charge decreased from 2 seconds to 1 second
Increased the rate Bolt Charge is granted while this effect is active from everyone 1.5 seconds to one every one every 0.33 seconds
The Final Shape Bungie Rewards
If you're someone who's a collector, make sure you complete triumphs and dungeons to unlock a slew of items from the Bungie store! Most rewards require you to complete by July 15th, with the ability to purchase by August 19th. So get to gaming!!
