When July 1st rolls around, a new item called Nonary Engrams will be available to grab at the Emissary. But how will be you earning these?

July 8th: players will be awarded one additional Nonary Engram each day just for signing in. Just make sure to claim it from The Emissary

Housekeeping Mentions
As mentioned last week, Ada-1 will be getting a refresh to what she offers in the form of providing a way for players to focus exotic armour one The Edge of Fate launches. While her synthweave bounties will continue to be available, they will be simplified come The Edge of Fate. Activity specific requirements will be removed while also introducing more flexible activity agnostic objectives for optional pathways and progression. Of course, raid and dungeon bounties will remain as they are.
Banshee will also be receiving an update to help Guardians round out their collections with legacy gear. If there's certain weapon rolls you've been looking for or you're a new player looking to try out weapons, starting The Edge of Fate will offer these legacy weapons for purchase at the cost of some enhancement cores and glimmer!
So that shooting range we've been keeping our eyes on since it was first mentioned? The footage you've seen about how it'll work? Instead of it being available three weeks after The Edge of Fate launch, Bungie has changed their minds! It'll be available day 1, July 15th.
Iron Banner will be taking a hiatus once The Edge of Fate launches. Salad-man will be taking his break and will be returning in September when the Ash & Ieon major update rolls around. Heavy metal will be returning July 29th if you're looking to scratch an itch, alongside a new playlist arriving week 1 of The Edge of Fate: Cutting Edge. This will feature seasonal weapons, armour, and exotics to be used against your rivals.
Gambit will also be going on hiatus, with Triumphs and legacy rewards still be able to earn from Gambit in the Worlds tab as it does now. This isn't the end of Gambit, as support will still be provided, however there are plans to bring Gambit back to the spotlight with updated rewards that players haven't seen since the days of Prime. Bounty For Good starts tomorrow at 9 am PT! So if you want a crack at the new bounty emblem, Faster Then Light, make sure to tune in with a team on standby to try to match and win against those over at the Bungie Foundation. Every match whether it's a win or lose, supports the It Gets better project!
