TWID 5/22/2025

This week's TWID began with a notice that Ghosts of the Deep was now in rotation for Rite of the Nine, and a reminder of its changed schedule. The schedule is as follows; keep in mind, the second week of the first three rotations will have increased loot drops.

• Spire of the Watcher - May 6th to May 20th

• Ghosts of the Deep - May 20th to June 3rd

• Prophecy - June 3rd to June 17th

• All Dungeons available June 17 to July 14

  • Increased currency drops will be active for all three dungeons, with each week holding a featured Dungeon with increased weapon drops (Spire June 17th, GoTD June 24, and Prophecy July 1

  • July 8-15 will have a "lootapalooza" featuring increased rewards from all Dungeons and a new way to spend Nonary Manifolds.

Then, Bungie spoke on the community's response to the speedrunning challenge shown in last week's TWID, and alluded to more standardized speedrun challenges for after The Edge of Fate launches.

This is the last week for you to get The Slammer, a Stasis vortex frame sword, out of Nightfalls. Get your hands on it if you're into that sort of thing!

Some new armor sets are in the Eververse store--specifically the wizard sets from Festival of the Lost, but the opposites of what the community initially voted for. Bungie said they would come around later, and now they've arrived, available for 1500 Silver or 6000 Bright Dust.
