Weapon Changes for 10/7/2025

This is to quickly go over the weapon changes coming to the Crucible (with a little bit of PvE changes to Spredshot Hand Canons) set to release this Tuesday, October 7th.

Ammo System

Crucible

• Special ammo meter gains at no/low investment for Primary ammo weapon final blows will be increased by 33%

Weapon Archetypes

Hand Canons

• Adaptives

  • Increase in stats for Finite Impactor to be more competitive with current offerings

    • Increased range from 35 to 46

    • Increased handling from 45 to 55

    • Increased reload speed from 40 to 50

• Spreadshots

  • Increased bonus damage vs. combatants from 8% to 15%

  • Reduced range by 5%

  • Increased spread by 10%

  • Increased recoil by 25%

  • Reduced handling by 10%

Sidearms

• Heavy Bursts

  • Reduced base damage taken

    • Reduced body shot damage from 33 to 31

    • Reduced critical hit damage from 53.8 to 49.6
